Colbie Caillat’s New Music Video Will Make You Feel Amazing About Yourself

We’re constantly being told what we should look like, which sucks because we all look how we look. We’re always bombarded with these unrealistic images of people and are somehow supposed to attain that look. It’s frustrating, and it can really bring you down. Colbie Caillat just released her new music video for “Try,” and holy moly, is it inspiring. Y’all know I love makeup, but I wear it for me. This song is about not doing things for other people and finding yourself first. Everyone in the video starts off made up and slowly removes makeup and hair extensions as it goes on. By the end, they’re just themselves, Colbie included. It’s awesome.

Did anyone else find it disturbing that the supposed “bad angel” Lucifer was the only one who cared about consent and the feelings of his vessel while Michael and his henchangels used every dirty trick in the book on Dean?

[x]

I think about this all the time.

If Lucifer treats someone better than you do, you’ve got issues

Lucifer’s honesty wasn’t born of good intentions. He knows what his reputation is, he knows that every word he says will be met with scrutiny and distrust. The only play that would work for him is honesty. He limited his interactions with Sam to things he could answer honestly without looking evil. That meant Sam would be unable to find fault with anything he said. As time went on and the “good” angels kept getting caught in lies and manipulations Lucifer would start to look like the better angel, the only one who had never lied and therefore the only one Sam could trust.

Notice how Luci controlled his conversation with Sam. Lucifer did most of the talking and said things that would trigger high emotions in Sam, which kept him from thinking clearly. This kept Sam from asking the loaded questions like “Are you planning to kill every human on the planet?” Luci stuck to topics that would paint him in a positive light while avoiding the topics that showed his true intentions of genocide. He controlled the flow of information to make him look more favorable and this is a classic manipulation technique that’s been used by every dictator in history

I kept thinking I’d already posted this but now that I’ve checked, I found that I hadn’t at all? So, time to share!

A few parts are missing and my pronunciation is far from perfect, but here’s a short acapella cover I did of the second Attack on Titan opening! I hope you all enjoy it~

An extremely old stamp.
This ancient stamp dates to the 22nd century BC, and is from the holy city of Nippur, located southeastern Iraq. Nippur was the religious centre of Mesopotamia for thousands of years, and was believed to have been where Enlil created mankind.
Translated, the inscription on the stamp reads: Narâm-Sîn built the house/temple of the god Enlil. As the British Museum state: “Such stamps were used to impress or mark the bricks of important religious and public buildings. They are therefore an important source for the identification of architecture and a valuable criterion for the date of a building.” The impression in front of the stamp is modern.
